Biography Briefs
Early Childhood
Staffy grew up in Detroit, Michigan immersed in the soulful sounds of Gospel music. Her boisterous voice could be heard singing praises and witnessing at her elementary school. At the age of 10, she held her first revival in the backyard of her home. Many children tarried and were saved, delivered, and set free. Raised in Christian Love Tabernacle of Holiness Church under the late Pastor Ann Doucet. She studied the art of Gospel music and decorum from the late Elder Willie Smith.
The Formative Years
Staffy graduated from Murray-Wright High School in 1982. She was instrumental in creating the Gospel Choir. This love for music ministry spilled over to her college years at Eastern Michigan University. She served this aggregation of minstrels for over 21 years. Traveling the United States, Canada and Jamaica extensively she went on the record a CD entitled "Get To The Concept" under the Dorohn Record label. Her parents, Dr. Marshall Hall and Evangelist Carolyn Hall became Pastor and founder of New Foundation Christian Center where she served simultaneously as minister-of-music and Youth Pastor.
Evolving
Staffy graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting. She has shared the stage with many prominent artists like Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, Thomas Whitfield, Evangelist Esther Smith, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong to name a few.
